I was born and raised in Charlotte. While attending East Mecklenburg High School, I developed my love for sports and got my first taste of weight training. The weightlifting helped me to build my endurance as a varsity basketball player. After high school, I was determined to stay in shape, so I continued to work on my strength training and cardio. Several people at the gym saw my enthusiasm for training, and they encouraged me to pursue a career in physical fitness. I received my certification to become a personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
I have now been a personal trainer for approximately six years with my specialty being core and interval training. Many of my clients have a desire to lose weight, but they don’t know how to accomplish their goals on their own. I have helped inspire numerous people to lose in excess of fifty pounds and to keep the weight off. In addition, I have trained clients of all ages and varying medical conditions, including diabetes. To aid in weight loss, I believe in developing an integrated style of training, so that I am constantly confusing the body. I hope with my guidance that my clients reach their goals and in the process develop a healthy lifestyle.
